Photographer's Note
The photo is taken in Casa de Mateus (aka Mateus Palace, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mateus_Palace). It's a truly beautiful palace with an amazing decorative garden (I'm going to upload more photos) and wineyard, and a pool... And in the middle of that pool is a slightly curiously placed a sculpture of a woman, half immersed in the water. But I was there on a calm sunny afternoon and with the clouds reflecting in the water the sculpture seemed to be half-drowned in clouds instead.

Hello Giedre,
This shot is amazing ! The point of view and the frame are very clever. Thanks to the reflection of the sky on the water, this statue seems to emerge from an other world.
How is it possible to be the first to write a critique after 111 viewings ?

Bonjour Giedre,
une photo un epu déroutante, remarquablement composée, vaec ce jeu de reflets que cette statue trahit dans des eaux trop tranquilles. Unegrande précision dans la mise au point et les réglages de l'exposition.

I really really like this photo of yours, it immediately catches the attention for its unusuality, and I love the fact that you kinda have to think about it for a while before you understand that part of it is a reflection, and part isn't. Very good composition! It's a shame it wasn't a sunny day, but obviously there's nothing you can do about it.
