Costa da Caparica is well known for its beaches, which in recent years have been disappearing, especially near the mouth of the Tagus river. Since some years now it has witnessed the disappearance of the beaches at Costa da Caparica, including the beaches near the mouth of the Tagus River, although this phenomenon has already spread to beaches further south. Several measures of protection and restoration of the beaches were taken over the years as the creation of pontoons and more recently the wall made up of several beaches along the northern coast and the replacement of sand on the beaches near the mouth of the Tagus river.

A wonderfully moody sunset.
The red ball of the sun is well positioned in the frame and, links nicely to the f/g with its fine reflection.
There is just enough f/g light to pick out the romantic couple whose position makes a nice diagonal lead to the focal sun.

a costa da caparica foi o primeiro lugar que entrei no mar, tinha 6 anos. me lembro que a casa de praia era bem distante do mar, o quintal era de areia e a gente encontrava conchinhas ali no quintal que até possuía uma oliveira. boas lembranças
