Hi dear TE friends

Place : Flor da Rosa - Parish Church

Theme: (Trip) Portugal,on North of Alentejo (VII)

A little village with 349 habitants and a surface of 9,88 Km2.
Approximately twenty kilometres east of Portalegre, near to the Spanish border.
Crato became an important town in Portugal's history when the Order of the Hospitallers received from King Sancho II, in 1232, vast territories in the Higher Alentejo region.

*In the image in the left side we can see a Alentejana Typical House with its chimneys of wide mouth. The Parish Church and the right, the Monastery and Inn.
