Photographer's Note
The Praça do Comercio is the symbol of the historical power of Portugal. In the past, when visitors arrived by boat, the Praça do Comercio, located on the banks of the Tagus, was considered the entry gate into the city of Lisbon.
In the center of the square is the statue of Dom José. In front of that, there is a gigantic arch, which symbolizes the gates to the city, the "Arco da victoria".
The square is surrounded by colorful ministerial buildings.

Excelente foto. Valia a pena dizer alguma coisa no espaço próprio (descrição). Isto é muito apreciado por pessoas que não conhecem o local fotografado e só valoriza a imagem (embora uma boa foto valha mais que muitas palavras) !!

Apesar de ser um tema já visto gosto bastante desta perspectiva a enquadrar vários elementos e a dar profundidade á foto. As cores parecem-me também muito naturais. Se acrescentares comentários sobre o local será mais apreciada :)))

Looking at the thumbnail, I tought you had de-saturated the colors of everything but the building. But when I opened the full image, I saw this is a "low saturation" of a lovely view of a plaza... The angle you chose is very nice and so is the information given in the note.

Bom enquadramento! dá uma visão simultanea dos dois principais motivos desta bela praça.

Nice shot. Beautiful old buildings. I'd love it if you had close ups of the individual buildings. Specially the statue on the left and the gateway on the right. I am really intersted in seeing them.

Beutifully composed wide angle. The photo is nicely balanced and the gold on the building constrasts nicely with the grey winter sky.
