Castelo Dos Mouros, a photo from Lisboa, South

Photographer's Note

Construído pelos mouros no século VIII ou IX D.C., este Castelo está implantado em dois cumes da Serra, de onde se disfruta generoso panorama.
Circundado de muralhas e diversas torres, sofreu diversas reparações em especial no período romântico (cerca de 1860), quando o rei consorte D. Fernando II de Saxe Coburgo-Gotha, o restaurou, arborizou os espaços envolventes e conferiu às velhas ruínas medievais uma outra dignidade.

Com estas cores e este tema conseguiste uma foto que parece saída da Idade Média.
~
Quanto à bandeira, se efectivamente está lá escrito "Sintra" é bem provável que esteja ao contrário, visto o mastro estar à esquerda. Normalmente em árabe a escrita em bandeiras é a partir do mastro, mas da direita para a esquerda. É só um detalhe.

Bom dia Gonçalo, este teu filtro já é a tua imagem de marca no TE ;-) A verdade é que gosto bastante do ambiente que ele produz nas imagens. Aqui no Castelo de Sintra ficou a matar. Curiosa bandeira árabe que ainda ajuda mais isto a parecer de outro tempo que não o de hoje. O céu está fabuloso. Muito bonita.

belo pov do castelo que eu só vi à distância (me concentrei apenas no palácio da pena). Gostei da maneira como vc enquadrou as muralhas e as torres, bem como as bandeiras ao vento. O que será que está escrito naquela bandeira em idioma árabe ?

Wonderful historic scene with exceptional details to the old castle that is wonderfully complimented by the blue and golden sky.
The flag blowing proudly in the heavy wind and lush green trees leading to the castle are two fine additional elements to this fine image.

A fine place & a lovely image enhanced by the tobacco filter. Like the perspective of the path leading upto the stairs. The tree at the top draws attention. Like the fluttering flag as well. Good work!
