Photographer's Note
Guess it's time to post a few photos of the North of Portugal, not exactly the coast this time, but rather the inland region, near the border with Spain, where tourists don't go so often.
I'm starting with the castle of Montalegre, a town in the extreme North. What we see here is the main tower, finished in the 14th C, after the rest of the castle. The place is inhabited since prehistory and today it's a beautiful place, where it's possible to enjoy a fantastic view over the mountains around.

A fantastic image from the past featuring the lone faithful old guard constructed to last. Nice exploitation to dramatise the structure beautifully captured from a great point of view with good sense of size in relation to the background and the deep blue shade of the sky lends a stunning contrast. Good tones and the treatment gives it an olde worlde feel. Great shot, Congrats, TFS

beautiful photo. I like old tower set against the spectacular sky. Great contrast of the dark blue with the white clouds. Well saturated colors are so pleasantly eye catching.
