I would like to have an answer to your question. What I know right now is that I like your picture it has a nice compo and the B & W works fine, even considering the subject has been reflected in 47.673.732 pictures more or less.

Brings back memories.
Way back in my photography class days in highschool, I'm 41 now, this is what I took for the study of infinity. I took a black and white and the tracks went from bottom straight to about 3/4 of the way up, focused so that the tracks were clear from bottom to end with buildings on either side and car in motion to direct your eye to the end.
Your composition works well.
