Photo taken from Vila Nova de Gaia.
Arrabida Bridge, which contains a 270m span, set the world record for concrete bridges for some time. The arch is 52m tall and the plate rises up to 70m above water level. The construction lasted from May 1957 to 22 July 1963, day of its opening.
Closer, one of the traditional Rabelo Boats which once carried the barrels of Port Wine along the River Douro, nowadays some of them offer tourists and the inhabitants of Oporto daily cruises of one hour between the river's banks and bridges.

Very beautiful composition Marco, the light is very beautiful, the only perturbing element is the piece of grass in the foreground.
Very well considering the little piece of rabelo in the foreground.

É, apesar de tudo, um grande desasfio fotografar esta zona da cidade do Porto. Isto porque já quase tudo foi feito.... Já se viu de tudo!

Que vista, vejo que o Porto tem mais e mais adeptos da fotografia. Sempre que passo por alguem com câmara penso logo que poderá ser alguém do trekearth.
A perspectiva é excelente, tem um optimo enquadramento e uma optima luz. As casas do lado direito com a ponte ao fundo...Muito boa foto!

Bem esta zona está "careca" de ser fotografada! :-)
Mas neste caso gosto bastante da forma como enquadraste o rabelo optando por mostrar apenas um pormenor. Cria uma certa tensão na composição e desperta a curiosidade pelo barco. As várias camadas - terra, água, ar são muito interessantes. Bom trabalho com a cor e contraste.

A great cropping you did,nice framework,good use of DOF,colors are very attractive,and I like a semi haze atmosphere in depth here,...ang in a good time you captured it with attention to light,well resulted and composition is great,Marco.I like it alot.

Je suppose que la longue perche est un gouvernail, je constate que c'est une très belle image parfaitement cadrée. dans les règles de l'art à part ce morceau de gazon qu'il est possible d'éliminer gentillement.
