Hi TE friends
Today, I started a series of pictures from Loridos Farm and Buddha Garden.
In the WS, I posted 2 pictures of:
- Duddha Garden
- Terracota Army

The Quinta dos Loridos (Farm of Loridos) is a wonderful agricultural Manor House situated in Carvalhal, nearby Bombarral.
These lands once belong to the important Alcobaça Monastery, nevertheless during the 16th century the family Sanches de Baena bought these lands and built this Manor House that is nowadays a great exemple of the noble architecture of the 18th century, with several rural baroque elements, showing off proudly the Sanches de Baena’s family coat of arms.
The Quinta dos Loridos is nowadays a luxury hotel and also a renowned wine producer.
A big Oriental Garden is being built, with an area of about 35 hectares, with an artificial lakes and plans for about 6 thousand statues, combining a space of quietness and peace of mind

Hi,
It's a lovely space where you can spend some free time. I think there was so quiet. I like a lot the reflection like a mirror.

This is a well composed shot with the reflection adding depth and balance. The angle of the shot is great giving the scene depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great as is the photo's sharpness.

A lovely place with a charming reflection. There is a very fine warm light which makes all the colours to sparkle. The small gatzebo is a nice and well fitted focal point and the whole image is alive and dynamic.

Salut Aires,
Vraiment très jolie cette scène avec le petit kiosque au bord de l'eau entouré d'une belle végétation. Le bel éclairage est là de même que la qualité d'image. Les couleurs sont superbes et les reflets merveilleux.

curiosos estes jardins orientais, na miniatura julguei que eram um mosteiro budista, no Brasil existem uns dois mosteiros, mas aqui, pelo que diz a sua nota, é apenas algo decorativo, sem, propósitos religiosos. belo local, a luz está muito boa, o enquadramento e o pov estão perfeitos. gostei
