Photographer's Note

I thought that having uploaded 18 photos from Madeira is a good moment to stop my reportage from this beautiful island. But then again the alternative would be to take a break from TE or go back to my archives, so why not continue this beautiful subject for a couple more photos instead? In regard to the subject selection, I have some spectacular sights photographed in a poor light so they don't look as impressive as in the reality or I have photos taken in quite simple spots but in a gorgeous light, which makes them more attractive then they actually were. I suppose I can alternate between them. As you may remember I have a weakness for palm trees. I am so easy to please: a bit of sunshine, a couple of palm trees and I start jumping of joy.
This photo was taken on the parking at trailhead to Ponta de São Lourenço. We had a stunning sunshine there. We didn't know that half an hour later or so, we will be soaked in a terrible storm while hiking along the cliff edge.
