The lavradores agricultural market in Funchal is bustling with activity and colour. You can buy any of Madeira's specialties from fresh fish and vegetables to exotic flowers and local crafts. The Upper floor, where this shot is taken, has tropical fruits and vegetables. Side rooms have Madeiran port wine and wicker baskets. The lower floor is where fish and meat are sold.
