Photographer's Note
Winter comes. First snow since last year. A park walk in Warsaw. Ducks stayed on town. There are a lot of people feeding them.

Wiec ja sie przyznam, ze wietrzylam oszustwo.. tzn. ze te kaczki zostaly skolonowane, uprzejma reka pomogla szczesciu.. dlaczego? Bo wydaja sie jakby odseparowane od tla.. niby z tego parku, a moze i z innego? Ale popatrzylam na nozki i sie zawsztydzilam.. nie znalazlam takich samych :)
W tym zdjeciu wiec przyznaje sie do niespodzianki, przy okazji jednak pogratuluje serii zdjec z fabryki swietych, ktora od dawna bardzo mocno nosze w pamieci. Byla wysmienita w calej rozciaglosci! I wegiel drzewny w Bieszczadach i mury Slaska.
Ide sobie Ciebie zapisac, ze chce Cie ogladac zawsze :)

The B&W medium has worked very well here. The ducks stand out really well against the snowy background.
The composition is good and leads the eye to the walker with the pram in the background.

Beautiful feeling of depth. The trees and the man are placed wonderful. Even without the ducks the photograph would be amazing. But with them, it gains also a surreal feeling. Congratulations.

Hi Aleksander,
I like that you have used a high contrast for this great black and white shot. The ducks scattered everywhere are simply wonderfull, and there is almost a surreal feeling about the shot. The trees and the person with their pram also adds good interest to the shot, everything works really well together. Great Work!

Witaj,
Mnóstwo kaczek. I śnieg, który dziś juz spłynął. Trzeba korzystać z okazji, póki jest. Myślę, że to Ogród Saski, koło przystanku. Zawsze jest tam w zimie bardzo dużo kaczek. Też je czasem karmię. Bardzo mi się podoba.

A really beautiful black and white, Alan. Love the tilt angle which makes the foreground ducks look vast in numbers, dwarfing the row of trees and men. WOnderful photography.

Absolutely superb ! Aleksander, I'm jealous of such picture.
Very high graphism, the ducks punctuate perfectly the snow. The little human silhouette and his baby-cariage are perfectly placed.
This is very attrative, very efficient.

no widze, ze Olek Prugar probuje jeszcze cos wyskrobac w dawnym stylu a ja juz na straty Cie skazalem i zatracenie odwieczne; myslalem, ze gnijesz w tej Warszawie i do cna talent zagubiles w polu;
ta fota nosi znamiona powrotu do formy ale nie ma co sie podniecac jednym strzalem, dawaj nastepne;
