Photographer's Note

View from solder's restaurant in Tykocin- this foto I've made today at 10 o'clock.
Tykocin->Small town, located on the banks of the Narew River, with unique baroque architecture, impressive monuments surrounded by unspoiled nature. Therefore, tourists interested in walking and bike tours as well as fishing and wildlife watching will find Tykocin and the vicinity an ideal place.
The local Jewish community belonged to the most prosperous ones in Poland. Many remnants of the Jewish culture may still be found in the town including the synagogue dating from 1642 and the cemetery.

Bird habitats form one of the attractions of the area, with two hundred species of birds and wild animals such as otters, beavers, foxes, deer and elks. The best seasons to see them are spring and autumn.
