Photographer's Note

The castle in Krasiczyn, one of the greatest treasures of Renaissance-Mannerist architecture in Poland, is also one of the most beautiful castles in Europe.
It was built in the late 16th and early 17th century by Stanis³aw Krasicki and his son Marcin. The castle's two curtain walls are decorated with a lovely openwork attic. Four round towers stand at the corners - the Divine, Papal, Royal, and Noblemen's towers (their names symbolize the hierarchy of the world approved by the castle's founders, encompassing both this world and eternity).
