Photographer's Note
Near the lovely church i found this little river with many falls. The day was dark and it was impossible to capture photos with beautiful light.
There are many small villages in the Beskidy Mountains where life moves at its own pace. One such village:
The SOPOTNIA WIELKA is an idyllic hamlet in the Beskidy Mountains hidden from the world outside. With hardly any tourists frequenting this place, the village is perfect for traveling to the Pilsko summit. It is 1557m above sea level and is a popular skiing destination. However, the Sopotnia Wielka is perfect if you want some quiet time on your own. With its overpowering natural beauty, crisp fresh air, wooden houses with slanting roofs, small bridges over pretty waterfalls and wildlife you can almost feel the healing touch of Mother Nature.

strange POV with that wood inside, but really beautiful to have a double persepctive parallel to the fall.

This is a nice presentation of the "jaz" - a tiny dam, under which i used to swim when i was a child. Such places are very common in the area, especially on Skawa river. The water-level is the highest there, so it is quite favourable place for summer picnics. But, as i remember - the water is very cold, rather polluted, and grass - snakes like the area :)

Hello Aires,
j'aime beaucoup de genre de prise, un cadrage un peu intime de ce petit déversoir, avec cette eau plein de mouvement, j'aurais opté pour une plus petite ouverture mais sans tripod, cela allait devenir un peu juste pour la netteté, et puis je suppose que tu voulais figer l'eau au maximum.
Une scène reposante.

hi Aires, dark or not, the day proved right to take a great shot, i suppose that it's thanks to this particular light on a cloudy day these colours came out so well- the trees are magical. i really like this wooden element of the bridge, it somehow doesn't intrude the composition but completes it.
