Photographer's Note

In southern Poland there are several hundreds of World War I cemeteries. Soldiers were buried there regardless of their nationality, they were from Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Russia... Every WWI cemetery in Poland has its own ordinal numer - this one is #192. This is one of the biggest cemeteries in my region. It is located near the top of Lubinka hill, a few kilometers from my city. 457 Austro-Hungarian and 218 Russian soldiers are buried there.
