Homole Canyon

The deep canyon of about 800 meters, having very steep slopes, reaching up to 120 feet in height. The gorge is located in the Small Pieniny in village Jaworki. Its name comes from the Russian word "Gomola," which means "unarmed" - this refers to the shape of the valley. Stony bottom of a ravine leading tourist trail, on both sides can enjoy a picturesque rocks, which is the unique vegetation, and the top of the landslide covered with pine forest. Kamionka stream flows that way, which contributed to the erosion of the place, creating numerous rapids. In the trough there are many rocks. For rubble limestone boulders in the valley expands, and stretches the panorama of the highest peak of Pieniny - Wysoka. Continuing on the trail can be reached at its peak.
