Photographer's Note

The trouble with a sailing ship is that the wind changes and thus you have to tune the sails. The trouble with a tall ship is that you need a lot of people to work on the sails, either aloft (the glorious work) or just simply on the deck like here. a bunch of Norvegian trainees are ready to pull on a rope, probably a lift since there are a lot of then, otherwise it is a brace. The guy with a red woolen hat is the bossman of the ship, controliing the manoeuvre. Another sailor is in the orange suit on the right. Sorry for the little tilt to the left, I did not try to correct it since it would have meant losing to much of the image. Another one of the same style tomorrow.
