Photographer's Note

It is a challenge to photograph the famous Bryggen in Bergen because of its position as one of the main attractions in the city. My choice was a panorama where the old wooden houses at Bryggen plays a leading role, but where I also choose to include the inner parts of Bryggen with its newer architecture.

The wooden houses has its history datet back to the 12th century, but most of these houses dates back to after the great fire in 1702, but are built at the same principle. The inner part of Bryggen dates back to early 20th century.

Thanks for viewing.
