Photographer's Note

This is, in my opinion, the most picturesque lake in Norway. I think this place has all the things people associate with Norway. There was also a glacier behind me when I took this shot, so it was really magical. The lake is called Jølstravatnet (Jølster Lake), located between Førde and Sogndal by Sognefjorden. It's a popular place among tourists as it's close to the fjords and Jostedalsbreen, the biggest glacier in Northern Europe. Fjærland, a small village known as the "Book village", is located just 10 km south of the lake. Fjærland is also famous for the glacier museum.

I really recommend to visit this lake if you're visiting Norway. I think it's a beautiful sight while driving on the road along the lake. This was actually taken at a rest stop where we eat breakfast. Of course, I couldn't resist taking some photos also.
