Photographer's Note

A small detour from my Balloon series:

Riding a train from Myrdal to Fla°m, a downwards tracks length of 19km and about 1km elevation differentials, through a beautiful landscape, mountain and trough's, the train made a stop especially to let the travellers see this frozen cascade that appeared on the right side of the tracks, just about 12km before the turns towards Fla°m station.
A scanned photo from that day, May 2nd, 1980.

Bulent had posted a later era summer pic. from same spot on the train, show an abundance of water when the snow melted.

Approximate location of the cascade which Erling point out its name, Kjosfossen, on the map: 60.748, 7.132
