Another shot taken in exceptional weather circumstances we had for a couple of days last winter, hopefully we'll see some real winter again this time...
Taken in the neighborhood where I live. Focal length 162. The black dots on the snow are birds.

Hello Alexander,
An interesting treatment to the shot, something I would not have considered and yet it works very well, creating an impression of age. I find myself scrutinising the shot much more intently, picking out the birds, the shadows, the tones and the fine composition.

Hi Alexander,
The choice of Sepia tones is good here, giving to the composition a little touch of warmth. You could have chosen to use more contrast to reveal more details about the trees in the background. Anyway, the scenery invites the spirit to ride a meditative stream.

Hello Alexander!
Another impeccably fine high quality photo. Your sepia conversion is well adjusted for a soft contrast and the sharpness is just right. I find sepia always conjures a certain nostalgia, but also warmth despite the cold. Looking at the trees, it's almost like looking at a negative. I like the colour one too. Very nicely done.
