Photographer's Note

Edam is a nice and tiny village located close to Amsterdam. It's worlwide known for its tasty and particular cheese. During summertime, an important cheese market is held once a week in the MarktPlatz, the ancient market square in the centre of the town: the cheese selling is rebuilded like a century ago, with traditional dresses, folk music, and the seller coming from the suburbs with a small boat along the canals directly to the square with their milk treasure. Cheeses of different colours (red for inner consumption, yellow preapred for selling) are put on some carpets, waiting for a buyer: a traditional auction sale is going on.

I liked these two kind of cheese: the yellow one seems to be an outcast between red population ... poor yellow!
I only sharpened and added the border.
Hope you like it!
