Sunset
Here's another picture from the day I went out to shoot some pictures of the sunset. It was on the 21st of June, when it was the longest day of the year.
I took this picture on the beach of Bloemendaal aan Zee, about 10km from Haarlem. It was taken a few minustes past 22.00h, with a quite low shutter speed.
The sea you can see is de Noordzee (North Sea).
I like this one because of the two people that passed, hope you like it too.

Hi Lars, A very romantic picture at the sunset. The silhouette view of the couple make a nice scene together with the beautiful setting sun and the clouds. A great timing and a wonderful moment. Well done.

Hi Lars, je tweede prachtige zonnewende foto. Hij is romantisch door de combinatie van de donkerwarme tinten van de lucht (de gradaties in de lucht zijn prachtig!) en de twee gesilhouetteerde wandelaars. De zachte focus draagt bij aan de kwaliteit. Fijn werk. Groeten uit Rotterdam, Bert.

Bonjour Lars
Une composition très intéressante et parfaitement cadrée; mais il était possible d'utiliser une vitesse plus lente avec un diaphragme plus fermé afin d'étaler la profondeur de champ.
J'ai effectué un WS pour donner un peu plus de luminosité.

A very interesting and perfectly tallied composition; but it was possible to use a slower speed with a diaphragm more closed in order to spread out the depth of field. I carried out a WS to give a little more luminosity.

Goedenavond Lars,
Een avond beeld en met een koppel op wandel spreekt altijd aan, de WS is een klein beetje geweld aangedaan dus blijf ik voor het origineel strijden. Het is een beeld om over na te denken, en te filosoferen.

June is my favourite month of the year, among other things because days are longer than ever... Such a joy of life. Nice one Lars, woudl have been a nice sunset as it is but i htink the people make it a lot better. As far as sunsets go I like the othe photo better but the silhouettes really improve this one.

Hi Lars. Nice sunset shot. The colors are great and I love how you captured the sun at the last possible moment. The use of the silhouettes really adds to the shot. Just watch out for some noise in the sky. Well done Lars!

Beautiful sunset Lars.
Very good sky and clouds colours, very well captured , the dark silhouette of the couple walking on the beach give you a nice perspective and depth to your photo.

hey lars, good shot of the sunset, its all worked well here, the fast shutter speed has stopped it from becoming too bright and making the silhouettes of the people stand out more! good colours and good composition, well done lars! :)

Wat romantisch! Mooi warme rode en roze tinten. De lijnen in de lucht zijn erg mooi. Misschien had ik de contrasten ietsje verhoogd, zodat de grijze silhouetten wat zwarter worden. Verder prachtig werk!!

A magnificent, well composed sunset shot, with great silhouettes and wonderful sky colour. The couple strolling are perfectly positioned to add warmth and balance the scene. Olá Lars, I like more of the other composition, but this one wins for the inclusion of the people passing by. The colors are wonderful and I like the darker atmosphere with the people as sillouttes. 22:00h is really late for s sunset. Sometimes, I go to bed at that hour :-)

The longest day of the year made you wait till very late in the evening to get this marvelous shot. The outcome was worth waiting.
