Photographer's Note

Ulcinz is the southern most coastal city in Montenegro and around 70% of the resident population are Albanian. Not surprising as Albania is 20 km or so south. This beach is ideal for small children although a bit crowded for my taste. It's also very shallow for a long way out so it's ideal for children. I did succeed in getting my knees wet, lol. There is deeper water 1 km to the right where adults swim from the rocks and take their chances with the large waves.

Not sure if this is the Adriatic or the Ionian Sea? More information from Wikipedia.

"Ulcinj is a town on the southern coast of Montenegro and the capital of Ulcinj Municipality. It has an urban population of 10,707, the majority being Albanians. As one of the oldest settlements in the Adriatic coast, it was founded in 5th century BC. It was captured by the Romans in 163 BC from the Illyrians. With the division of the Roman Empire, it became part of the Byzantine Empire. During the Middle Ages it was under South Slavic rule for a few centuries."
