Photographer's Note

Back between 1979 and 1989, all of eastern Europe was part of the USSR Soviet Union block, and soldiers were sent from Transnistria, Moldova and many other satellite countries. This is the war memorial commemorating the loss of 14,500 soldiers throughout the USSR including some from Transnistria. The horizon of the apartment blocks and the standing man at left appear level but the cross appears to lean to the left. Rotating it to the right makes the trees at left and the apartment block horizon line tilt too much so I reversed it. More info here
