Photographer's Note

As I've mentioned in my previous post from Valletta, its not so easy to find people to include in your scene. When I was here it was mid Oct, so there was even less chance as it was off season. This street scene is most certainly Inner Valletta, you won't find many tourists walking around here. That's exactly what attracts me to it :)

I know the rules of photography say try to keep the main focal point away from the middle of the frame, so I guess I broke the rule pretty bad here haha. But because the sitting man is off to the right, I wanted him in the scene and I also wanted the street corner going the opposite direction up and to the left. Therefore the statue had to be right in the middle...not much I could do, but I still like it.

Its a shame the man was wearing a yellow shirt, too bad it wasn't red or blue, that would have been better. Overall, i love places where the exterior architecture is rugged and aged, just as these are. Hope you enjoy it as well.
