I'd imagine this square in Prilep would be more popular in the Summer months than on a bleak overcast Fall day. But no matter, it still provided me with an okay photo opportunity.

Hello Chris,
Large public chess sets like this are fairly common. They're like a kind of interactive sculptures, which make them fun to watch even if you don't know the rules. A pity there were no players here at the time, but the black and white figures make a striking appearance anyway.

Hi Chris,in fact nobody in this square to play,but it's better to have a clean and free view on the chess playground,original capture that reminds me a bit the chess square of Marostica in Italy,i like it! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Chris,
A good photo of this large outdoor game of chess. It looks like the players abandoned their play in the middle of the game or someone had just placed the pieces randomly around the board. The yellow parts are a very nice and colourful addition.

Hi Chris,
luckily the place is so colorful that even at overcast sky it is eye catching. The chess figures make nice motifs on the patterned ground.
