Photographer's Note

The very idyllic hamlet of Ansembourg is surmounted by an old strong castle of the 12e century and it was increased in the 14e and 15e century. The count of Ansembourg decided, in 1638, to build a second castle in the valley, which is located at a hundred meters of the locality. This building is preceded by a beautiful grid entry and is characterized by its traditional style and its French gardens.

Unfortunately, the buildings of the two castles are in private property and cannot be visited. The gardens of the new castle on the other hand are opened for the public. (Access by the court of the castle)
