I'm posting today another shot the opening of the 2007 European Capital of Culture program. After the start at the railstation (first picture) the music-parade went to the upper town, where a big firework started.

Hello Mike
So this is what I might expect in 2008 when Stavanger is the cultural capitol of Europe?
POV is a bit strange but I think it works, the guy playing the saxophone is getting a lot of good attention but I somehow feel that the surroundings are disturbing him slightly.
The colours are the big attention catcher in this photo, orange is always such a "screaming" colour that it simply is impossible to not look at it.
