Photographer's Note
The castle of Clervaux houses an outstanding exhibition. So important that the exhibition is listed as part of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme.
"The Family of Man" is a collection of 503 photos by 273 photographers from 68 countries, compiled by Edward Steichen for the MoMA, New York. Displayed first in 1955, the expo has seen a 150 museums and is housed in the small luxembourgian city of Clervaux since 1994, because Steichen was born in Luxembourg.
