it depends on which way you decide to go:) From this side we can see the old town of Vilnius through the arches. A very charming site with many narrow curved streets and beautiful old architecture in the historic city centre. A pleasant site to visit without the hordes of tourist that you see in Praha, Paris and Rome etc.
The couple to the left seems to have other things to think about than vacation, tourism and resturants. Healing? Meditation?

Hello Boa,

A very interesting shot with many details to browse and consider.
I must be a people person for the couple on the left grabbed my immediate and undivided attention. Healing, meditation, hypnosis, I forgive you ... the speculations go on! What material for a fiction writer!

Later ... there is so much to see in the way of buildings, and people, through the arch, which is a wonderful feature in its own right.
You have coped well with the differences in light and shade.

This is a curious double scene. There is so much activity outside of the arch, with lots of color and old architecture. Then we see those two mysterious people on the inside. It's like seeing two different worlds at the same time. You handled the difficult lighting very well, too I like it. :-)

Hello Boa,

This couple at the left side are in a depth meditation, or maybe and other acquaintance.
You use the arch excellent as frame, with a nice background.
These picture gives a good perspective and depth image.
The people is a nice addition and gives more enthusiasm to the picture.
Very well composition nice presentation too.

Hej Boa,
Trevligt att du är här igen och kul att du åkte till Vilnius. Helt klart min baltiska favorit. Den här gatstumpen känner jag väl igen, på sitt sätt kanske stans mest turistiska stråk men ändå fjärran från de riktiga turistfällorna. Du har komponerat det snyggt med den mörkare förgrunden och utsikten mot den ljusa gatan med sommarklädda människor och fina hus. Beträffande de två till vänster så vill jag minnas att det dracks en hel del, där som här, så jag anar att de är två som kan ha fått lite för mycket i sig och hjälper varann att hålla balansen.
Själv har jag inte så många framtidsplaner men jag ska i alla fall åka till Helsingfors några dagar nu i slutet av månaden. Det började bli lite pinsamt att jag aldrig varit där.

Här har du verkligen lyckats fånga två helt olika bilder, en av två personer i dunklet bakom porten och en helt annan bild av folklivet i ljuset utanför. Två för priset av en... Den högra bilden visar ett folkliv med många färger och intressant arkitektur. Den vänstra bilden är något mer svårtolkad men den är också väldigt bra.

Hello Boa - The scene through the arch looks so normal compared to what we see this side with the darkly clothed figures. I am drawn to their intimate moment; a blessing given perhaps? Who knows? A most unusual juxtaposition of DL scenes. Even the division of colours has a role to play. Fascinating!

Good sneak around with this capture and tx to the infor notes. A charming old town and looks great that you have achieved a better balance of exposure between darkest and brightest areas of the scene. Lovely feel of depth seen thru the arch, plenty of good colours to feast the eye and importantly the people lend a lively finishing touch to the shot. Superb lens work and TFS.

Hello Boa,
A wonderful view of the old town and the churches seen through the gate.
The framing with the gate gives already in itself a pretty image but you included well the two people inside the gate. It adds even more life to the picture.
I have no idea what they are doing; probably one of both had to be comforted.
The town looks very attractive in that colourful view.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition. L'image raconte une histoire en plusieurs chapitres. A gauche le couple prend une pose très spéciale et sombre tandis que sous l'arche c'est la lumière et les couleurs.

Good morning Boa,
view under the arch brought two subject of interest to the scene: one is the fine view down-street old town with tourists added vivid tones, fine DOF and light managed through the shaded area.
The other subject is the couple on left - seem to me they found a nice corner to make peace between themselves, maybe had a rough erlier...
Anyway, a fine shot over.
