Photographer's Note

In Africa, I liked the view of the mothers having babies on their backs. But as I could see, also Europen mothers carry their kids like this. The picture was taken in Malbun, the only resort for skiing in Liechtenstein. It is located at 1,600 metres (5,249 feet) above sea level in the Alps, less than two kilometers from the Austrian border. And not so many kilometers from the Swiss border as well.

Many years ago, in the eighties, when I liked to see the Olympic Games in Alpine skiing, there were famous champions from Liechtenstein - the siblings Hanni and Andreas Wenzel. She had four Olympic medals (two gold) and her brother two medals, and many championships. From such a tiny country!

When we now almost do not see winter in Warsaw (and maybe better, I would have the hard job of removing the snow), was so happy to see the winter views in Lichtenstein.
