Another old picture taken with my tiny cheap compact camera during one of my evenings walks in the western coast of our island.
Suddenly I saw this little pond on my path which mirrored the sky... it looked like a magic mirror.

A reflection.
This is one of my pictures which nobody voted.
I wonder why...
I really would like to learn from your critiques why this photo has very little value (if it is really so) or why it doesn't seem interesting to you. So any serious and useful criticism is welcome. Thank you.

Io la trovo creativa ed originale. E' vero che il laghetto può sembrare un foro, ma è proprio questa ambiguità che avvalora l'immagine ed incuriosisce chi l'ammira. In ogni caso il cielo è stupendo. Per i punti non preoccuparti, tutti abbiamo pagato lo scotto dell'inizio. Se la posti adesso ti becchi almeno 50 punti. Questo è TE! :-)

As you suggest, the reflection off the small body of water, surrounded by the darkness of the foreground is really excellent - complemented by a very nice sky which adds real colour and texture to the frame. Real evidence here that it is the eye of the photographer which counts for far more than the price of the camera. great work, thank you, Iain.
