I come back to my Poffabbro village theme with a view through an arch; not many people live here, in this little mountain village partially restored after 1976 earthquake.
Poffabbro is considered one of the most lovely villages in Italy.

A wonderful capture of this-village corner with the cat. I also like the geranium in the pots on the walls.
The cat is well seen and shot.

The warm tones enhances the old stone and the view through the arch is a good idea, and makes a frame.

Yes- this must be a wonderful place indeed. Even though your photo shows a lot of stone the whole scenery seems to be friendly and beautiful. The included arch creates a great depth into the shown alleyways. I would like to have a walk there ...

Che fantastico scatto.
Mi piace da morire il taglio quadrato dato alla foto con l'arco a incorniciare il vialetto.
Colori caldi e ottima definizione per tutta la profondità di campo.
Veramente complimenti.
Mi sono anche incuriosito molto su Poffabbro, che deve avere scorci incantevoli, e ne ho letto su "borghiditalia.it". Peccato sia un po' lontano da Roma per pensare di farci un salto, almeno a breve.

non lo conoscevo questo posto, appena arriva la bella stagione voglio andare a visitarlo. L'immagine è piacevole ( adoro queste vecchie case in pietra ) forse un tantino troppo saturata, ma comunque apprezzabile per la composizione ed il POV.

The composition is really good geometrically: an arch opening a view of a triangle of lines.
Those stones covered with yellow lichens: centuries and centuries back in past... And then - flowers and a cat! - this photo is alive!

Hello Livia,
well I love cats! But this picture is great. Your composition brings out beautifully the old houses, so well kept, good idea to show the arch and the overall effect is very graphic with the empty space changing into a narrow lane...it all is so quiet, but there are the flowers, the cat, so life is behind the windows. It seems to deserve its reputation, I'll keep this in mind. Bel lavoro.

Nel mio piccolo tour della provincia di Pordenone ho purtroppo perso l'occasione per visitare questo piccolo paesino. Ero andato ad Andreis con l'intenzione poi di andare a Poffabro ma alla fine mi son perso a girare nei boschi a "caccia" di poiane, falchetti ma soprattutto di aquile che purtroppo non ho visto.
Deve essere un paesino bellissimo e lo hai rappresentato bene qui, con i vasi di geranei (?) a dare una nota di colore al tutto.

p.s:saro' di ritorno a Pordenone in ottobre, credo nella prima settimana o cmq entro la meta'. Una visita al Bachero sinceramente nn me la perderei!! Magari si potrebbe coinvolgere pure l'amico Attila e quasi quasi...perche' non cercare di radunare un po' di trekkertisti? Che ne dici?
