the unusual angle makes the photo brilliant. rich people seen from above, surrounded by kitsch. the colours and the composition bring out the theme of the photograph. great shot. congratulations.

Nice diagonal of the boat through the frame. The couple is so clearly shown as the rest of the picture is so free from distractions. And yes - they are bored... Well seen!

hi David,
they look very very bored..man is a little cold too perhaps..I remember Venice extremely cold during carnival time too..
I have a favourite Venice trilogy : "Don't Look Now", "Comfort of Strangers", "Death In Venice"..This could be a frame from the first two :)..
