Hello Daniel,
From the photos I have seen of these two towns I have always felt that Ercolano is the most interesting for visitors today, even though more important treasures have been found in Pompei. This view seems to confirm my impression. I like that there are some persons further down the narroiw street, but it doesn't look quite as crowded with tourists as Pompei.

Hello Daniel,
I only visited Pompeii many years ago, but this other famous town looks fantastic as well. Great view don this road. I really like the play of light and shadows around the ancient façades.

Hello Daniel,
I've also visited both Pompeii and Herculaneum.
Both are very interesting and if you have time, it is indeed best to visit both.
This is an excellent picture with a great perspective showing one of the ancient streets and its houses.
Also here you can see the new buildings of the city as this archaeological site is actually located inside Naples.
Beautiful clouds and cloud lines rise above the houses.

Hi Daniel
I have an almost identical photo that I took in 2002 with one big difference - they seem to have put in more drainage since then and that is probably a good idea. A good photo to bring back memories for me.
