Villa Fabri – Trevi
Completamente incorniciata dal tipico paesaggio umbro degli ulivi, dominante lungo i dolci declivi tra Assisi e Spoleto, la cinquecentesca Villa Fabri è ubicata a metà collina, appena fuori la Porta del Lago, a Trevi.
Fu Girolamo Fabri a ordinarne la costruzione alla fine del Cinquecento, "per sollievo della sua vecchiaia, a gioia dei posteri e del paese, con ampia vista sulla amena valle spoletana, in vicinanza della Città di Trevi, circondata da ogni parte da grandi alberi e ridente giardino”, fu inaugurata nel 1603, come si legge nella lapide commemorativa: SOLATIUM SENECTUTIS HIERONIMIS FABRI, POSTERITATIS ET PATRIAE. ANNO SALUTIS 1603.

Pozdrav.
Lepa stara arhitektura, dobro pokazana sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i dobrim tekstom.
Lepa Villa Fabri i fotografija, dobro uhvacen trenutak sa posetiocima i oblacima koji dolaze.
Zelim vam lep i uspesan dan, sve najbolje u novoj nedelji koja je pocela.

Hello Silvio,
It's a fine building with attractive details on the wall of the upper floor. The staircase is impressive and I like that we see two persons at the top of it. The trees surround the building nicely, but the photo is not quite as sharp as most others, and the sky looks rather noisy.

Hello Silvio,
The couple atop the stairs animate the scene. Good sharpness and well framed and composed using the rule of thirds. The warm facades of the buildings and embankment wall contrast well with the cooler tones of the blue sky. Tfs!

Well shown the large villa from a fair distant perspective.
It looks a bit neglected, restoration would bring back ancient grandeur to the edifice.

The staircase is a fine feature and adds to the strength of the composition by being slightly offset. It makes an effective feature to guide us into the scene, where the figures are useful for both scale and human interest.
