Construite autour du style génois-gothique, l'église a été finalement accomplie en 1277
elle a été construite sur le temple ancien de Venere Ericina, ou également sur une église du Palaeo-chrétien légèrement moins ancienne.

Beautiful church built over the rocks with the same tones of grey, which makes a very nice contrast with the deep blue sky behind! You captured that with perfect light and sharpness! Wonderful view!

A beautiful photo of this church built high on top of the cliffs. I really like the many grey tones of both the rocks and the walls. They look great against the perfectly blue sky. Very well done.

Interesting how the building is the exact same tone and texture of the rocks below it, i'm sure thats on purpose. great to have the 2 contrasting blue tones as well. cheers

superbe vue avec ce fond bleu ciel et bleu marine, belle mise en valeur de cette église perchée sur cet éperon rocheux, l'angle de prise de vue accentue l'impression de hauteurdes falaises, bon rendu, netteté et luminosité.

Bonjour Roland,
This photograph stands out, even as a thumbnail.
It is beautifully composed and exhibits excellent clarity.
The tilted layers of rock seem to connect the church and the sea!
For such an exposed position, the church has survived remarkably well and makes a strong feature against the sky.
