Photographer's Note
his little scene that epitomizes Italy and its way of living to me perfectly, presented itself when the receptionist of our Masseria near Martina Franca in the Puglia region left for home after her shift in her little Fiat cinquecento.
Although cold and windy, Puglia offers some amazing sights in early spring before the hordes of tourists fall in. The place is quiter and more authentic then.

Bonjour Daniel,
Du très beau travail de post production. La technique est irréprochable et l'image est tellement italienne dans sa forme. Même les poteaux e les fils électriques ont du charme.

Hello Daniel,
What a sudden outburst of activity, but please go on. Your photos are always worth a good look. This was a good choice for leaving just the small car in colour. The Fiat is lifted to a higher emblematic level this way, but we mustn't forget to watch also the area surrounding it. The narrow road along the wall, between the trees and the electricity poles has a very cosy atmosphere and you have composed the photo well.

How lucky you were in a position to predict this situation, knowing the lady who owns this beautiful little car. Great idea to desaturate the landscape and draw the viewer's attention to the small but important star of the show.

Hello Daniel, Original composition, I like here the idea of desaturation and leaving only this small red Fiat. Charming view. It happened often that we had to call and wait for the receptionist in our hostels in Italy. Sometimes we stayed ther alone (out of season). Nice scene from Puglia region.
