Photographer's Note
This is the landscape around Volterra, a town of great architectural interest located 1770 feet above the sea level, between the rivers Bra and Cecina in Tuscany. The main features are two fine castles and numerous Etruscan remains. The ambience of Volterra is extremely attractive, easily rivaling that of the more famous Tuscan destination of San Gimignano.

Bonjour Daniel,
Il n'y a rien de plus beau que la campagne italienne surtout en Toscane. Un magnifique plan large qui possède une multitude de couleurs selon les angles de la lumière.

Hello Daniel,
A legendary scenery nicely cropped to keep the sky out. The low hills undulate attractively and the colours are very nice.

Ciao Daniel
proprio oggi sono passato da queste parti, purtroppo il cielo era grigio e pioveva, non c'era la luce che c'è nella tua foto....

Hi dear Daniel
So stunning landscape view. A lot of hills, seeming like waves, are so well presented. Extrem horizontal foemta is quite the best fit with this location.
All the best and have a good day! Takero

You drew this painting, didn's you Daniel...?
Fabulosu Toscana landscape, immaculate photo show the typical hills and fields, cypress and other trees, shadows making a variable colors cast.
My cong.'s for that beauty,

hello Daniel, Marvelous landscape in Tuscany near Volterra. It looks different in the late summer when the fields are brown. In May they were all fresh green or with flowers. MAgnificent panorama.

Hello Daniel
I agree: San Gimignano has become a victim of its own success, while Voterra is bigger and thus copes better with its - probably smaller - influx of tourists. This is a really interesting panoramic view, which shows the characteristic landscape very well.
Regards
Will
