La place de l’Amphithéâtre (nom officiel en italien Piazza dell'Anfiteatro) est une place de la ville de Lucques en Italie, édifiée sur les restes d'un ancien amphithéâtre romain , ce qui détermine sa forme elliptique fermée
La place fut créée au Moyen Âge, à cette époque elle était appelée parlascio, terme qui désignait le lieu où se tenaient les réunions des citoyens. Elle fut progressivement remplie de constructions d'utilisation très différentes comme des dépôts, poudrière, prison…

Cette grande place bordée de vieux immeubles est très joliment présentée, particulièrement avec ce ciel d'une beauté exceptionnelle. Les pigeons semblent apprécier les petites flaques laissées par la pluie.

It's a good composition of the person standing alone in the large square in front of the beautiful buildings. I get the impression that the processing of the clouds is slightly overdone.

La présence des gens anime la scène. L'étendue de la place donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des maisons ou immeubles. J'apprécie l'effet des nuages et de la pluie sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Serge,
Vous avez créé un énorme effet dramatique dans le ciel. Selon mon opinion personnelle, l'effet serait plus grand si les nuages seraient en noir et blanc.
La place et les bâtiments environnants semblent très beaux. Malgré la pluie, une ville magnifique.

I like the dramatic sky with the yellow orange tint. Good sharpness and a pleasant diffused light. Nice subtle reflections in the wet pavement. Good repetition of the umbrellas. Tfs!

There's a lot in this - really great just looks so typically HDR! which seems to have brought out the best in this image, such are the colours, light and exposure and lovely detail through the rest of the shot is there for all to see. Love the imposing buildings and the cloudscape combination to finish off nicely with catchy addition of the fig. Well done, TFS

Superbe Lucca sous ce ciel de tempête, j'aime beaucoup les reflets dans le flaques d'eau. Apparemment tu n'as pas eu plus de chance que moi avec la météo à cette époque. Très jolie photo!
