La longueur du fleuve Tibre donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'architecture du pont et des immeubles. La bonne luminosité donne de belles teintes aux couleurs de l'image bonne soirée.

Hi Jean,
Indeed a beautiful photo very well composed. I love the elements present like the trees on the left top, the cathedral, the bridge, the rower, the boat with passengers, the cyclist...it beams with life, but at the same time exudes stillness. Lovely shot!

hello Jean - This is a super composition, it has a lovely 'airy' feel which is perhaps unusual in a city scene. The river and foliage really add a calming effect so top marks for a lovely composition. I like the subtlety of colours too. Finely detailed and attractively composed this is a charming shot.

Une vue très jolie et pittoresque et une photo bien composé, "structurée" pas seulement par le pont mais aussi par la basilique et la promenade au bord de la rivière. Le canoë ajoute un touche de vie et balance bien la compo malgré son petit dimension.

Bonjour Jean,
This is one of my favourite spots in Rome! I like very much the view of the basilica through the bridge and with the river in the foreground. I think in fact I may have it in my TE collection as a night photo -old scanned version HERE.
You captured it in a pleasant soft light, it looks so pretty!
I like having the boat on the river in the foreground it adds some life and interest,

a very interesting and enjoyable photo, a point of view that's found on sites and friends' portfolios very frequently so it's apt for comparisons regarding composition and settings. I think that you did a wonderful work, using the iconic elements of the scenery as well as the transient presences in a wonderfully balanced way. Clarity, textures and colours are superb, I also love the light and the calm atmosphere. We enjoy the details of the scenery without missing the natural colour graduation and the atmospheric appeal of the shadows. Congratulations and thank you!

C'est le genre de vues qui confirment la phrase: "Rome, ville éternelle"! La lumière est bien douce et la scène ne comporte pas d'éléments indésirables (si ce n'est un bout de grue, à peine visible...) En gros, c'est superbe!
