Photographer's Note

Last week we had on outing to Villasimius, a touristy place at about 45 km from my home town. In summertime it’s too crowed and too expensive and so we avoid going there, preferring more quiet places.
But at this time of the year the season is almost over, at least for the Sardinian people, and only few tourists remain, so we could have a swim in a relatively empty beach in the morning and have a stroll at the local marina in the afternoon. A strong mistral (NW wind) was blowing which brought huge and dark clouds.
The photo shows the “spiaggia del riso” (the beach of the rice) just to the right of the marina. As one could expect from the appearance of the sky after few minutes I took this photo it started to rain… but it didn’t last long.

A nice coincidence: Jean Yves aka PixelTerror , a veteran of Te who many of you will surely remember (he has quitted the site and deleted all his photos) was spending his holidays here in Villasimius at the beginning of September. He met with Bobo and Baddori in Cagliari but unfortunately I was away the day he came.
