Photographer's Note
Nettuno,
I visited for the fort.
But was amazed to find the old Borgo almost on the beach. Many of the towers intact, although well built around. Information on them was not to be found.
If anyone reads this I would be most welcome on any.
This is one of the old towers from the inside. If it was originally a gateway .. I don't know?
How it all escaped the fighting in World War ll I just don't know again.

Hi Peter,
This a great litle view of the old tower, the arch and the flowers on the right. Looks like a fun place to wander around.
I did a workshop, because I thought the photo needed sharpening somewhat. Also, the bottom half of the photo is a bit dark, but the sky is very bright, so you don't want to brighten the whole photo. I applied a gradient in Photoshop, which enabled me to brighten up the lower part of the photo without burning out the sky.
