Photographer's Note
Well, I guess it's the best time to submit this photo now as this place will be full of Venice Carnival photos in a month's time. I promise this is the last one from my Carnival series.
This lady had such beautiful blue eyes that actually had the same colour as her dress. She was just stading on this bridge and posing for whoever wanted to take a picture or her. I have a close up with her face and only the veil but I decided to submit this one that actually shows more of the place and I also like the back lighting lighting up a part of her veil.

I always wanted to go to Venice in that time to see thousands of masks, to see the heart of this place in that magical moment. Great portrait of this unknown lady. Super colors.

Yet another excellant image, The DOF is excellant and the colour complementary but best of all are those eyes peeking out of the mask

Hi Ondrej!
Why is it your last carnival photo? They are marvellous!
Do they pose to you or do you stick to them till you get a portrait, this is something I wonder a lot.
The costume of the lady and those sharp details which you captured perfectly are incredible and contrasting very nicely with the blurred BG. It is also good that she is not staring at the beholder.
An awesome Grotesque Veneziano!
