Last Supper - Convent of San Bernardino - Montefranco (TR)
The fresco is located in the refectory of the convent of San Bernardino.
The convent and church of San Bernardino are located outside the walls of Montefranco, in the locality of Monzano, near Arrone, built on the remains of an oratory dedicated to the martyr Primiano, of very ancient origin, as evidenced by the dedication to a martyr venerated in Spoleto in the early Christian centuries and in the early Middle Ages, to which the "church-martyrium" of the cathedral group of Spoleto was named, datable to the 9th century.

We always think of this scene as a huge important painting by Leonardo da Vinci but this is so engaging in its own right! And how beautifully it has been fitted into the arch. Surrounded by white, it stands out very clearly.
Your photograph is just a little tilted, easy enough to correct in PS.

I am so behind with commenting on photos! I was very busy at work. This is a beautiful last supper, different from Leonardo da Vinci. This is so very appropriate for the Thursday in which the church celebrates the last supper indeed.

This fresco is very typical for the convent's refectory, the painting is very beautiful and has soft pastel colors, tailor-made for that semicircle of the refectory.
Very nice coloring, and attractive tones.
Optimal brightness management and superb sharpness.
