Photographer's Note

A stitch of 2 images took along a small road between the fields in the Trequanda Municipality, just north of the Pienza borderline.
There are 2 small villages on the background, on the top of small hills. Its are Petroio on the left and Castelmuzio on the right, both are part of Trequanda Municipality.

Both the village were settled by Etruscans some centuries before Christ, than occupied by Romans, then under the Lords Cacciaconti della Scialenga and then part of the Siena Republic and finally during the Rinascimento part of the Granducato della Toscana.

The image was took at mid morning, and the clouds over the hills its were the only ones that we had in the 4 days vacation. Then just sun, sun and sun.
