A partial of the Duomo Santa Maria of Pisa. Just to show you that not only the tower has its porblems.
As mentioned in previous post, all three buildings (Tower, duomo and baptisterium) were already sinking during construction. If you look closely at the arches of the ground floor, you'll notice that the end rows move away from the first floor, which in turn has been cut short to level the roof. I didn't manipulate the shot so yes all those base arches are crooked. Just compare with the other arches of the building in the background. The whole construction process must have been an architect's nightmare...
