Slt voisine du jour avec cette superbe vue nocturne très bien gérée, bon rendu avec cette parfaite exposition, belle mise en valeur de cet édifice et de son campanile, bonne netteté d'image, on admire sans se tordre le cou pour regarder le haut de la tour. merci du partage.

Original night picture of the Florence Duomo. Nice also the Workshop photos with the door to the cathedral.
I was also in Florence with Carlo and Ghislaine but it was so crowded that we left Florence very quickly. It was impossible to move around.

All those design detail look very good on this night time architecture picture. It looks quite different from what I could expect. And no wonder, as it was renewed in the 19th century. Good exposure and vertical framing fits well.

P.S. I don't know if I'm going to continue uploading photos to TE, I don't know if you got to see my penultimate photo of a pair of kittens.

They erased me because they told me, that no pet photos were allowed, I replied that it was not a pet photo, they were street cats, that they had to live in the ruins of the castle, that I had previously uploaded and that the note said .

I am very indignant because I can't stand the injustices, I'm tired of seeing pictures of cats, dogs, birds and many other animals and let them pass.

So I will think about it during these Holidays and I also have the house change at the beginning of January, what encourages me is the contact with all of you .... We will see ...

reading your note, yes, it would have made the photo better to clone out the section at the top right...but if you don't know how to do it, that's ok too :) Sometimes these things are just unavoidable. I'm a big fan of these UP shots, so this appeals to me right away, and I was here a few years ago so I know the location well :) Fine up shot with visual impact. Happy New Years! cheers

It is a fascinating cathedral. I like the designs on Italian churches and this is rich with them. I noticed that the tower was leaning right a bit and I took the liberty to straighten it and uploaded to the workshop. 👍🏻👍🏻

Beautiful nightly picture of cathedral in Firenze. Perfect quality except unwanted item on the right upper corner. I wanted correct this problem by cloning but I found that Murat (mcmtanyel) already did it.

Bonsoir Marie-Louise,

L'espace est limité pour photographier cette basilique, J'ai eu ce problème lors de ma visite à Florence le 20 mars 2018. L'architecture de cette basilique est magnifique. La prise de vue permet de voir avec précision cette partie de la basilique Santa Maria del Fiore. Bonne soirée.
